Enrollment
Please enroll each student online by clicking here. Please have an alternate class in mind should the class become unavailable. Please keep us informed of any changes during the year, especially of any health concerns. By enrolling you are agreeing to the terms of our waiver, rules, media release, and COVID guidelines. If you would like to opt out of the media release, it must be done in writing.

Tuition and Payment Plans
Adair Dance Academy follows a monthly payment system. ADA does not charge separate recital fees. Tuition is divided into 9 equal payments. Your deposit (first payment) will be used as your September tuition payment and holds your space. The remaining 8 payments are due at the first class you attend each month, beginning with your October classes and ending with your May classes. Any payments not received by the 12th of the month will be charged a $10 late fee. Returned checks are charged $35.

Tuition fees include:
  • Lessons
  • Dance uniform leotard
  • Up to 2 costumes for performances
  • 2 recital tickets
 
All classes are scheduled mid September through May with an end-of-year performance in early June.
 
The Pre-ballet enrichment program at St. Michael is a 10 – 12 week session and includes a parent demonstration at the end of each term (Fall and Spring).

Communication
Studio information is posted, announced, e-mailed and available on this Web site. ADA will send updates to you through the e-mail address you provide at the time of registration. It is your responsibility to check your e-mail regularly. If you do not have access to e-mail, please contact the studio at 402-551-4200 to request an alternate communication method for updates.

Calendar
Adair Dance Academy closes when Omaha Public Schools close for inclement weather. Please note that Adair Dance does not follow the OPS calendar in any way.

Withdrawals and Refunds
Enrollment assumes full payment of all 9 installments of tuition regardless of voluntary withdrawal or absences for the September through May dance season. A doctor’s note may be required in the event of extended medical leave. Cases will be reviewed on individual bases, and are at the discretion of the administration.
 
Injured students are encouraged to observe class, especially during performance season. However, no adjustment to fees will be made.

Attendance/Performance Commitment
Please text or leave a message at 402-551-4200 in case of an absence or tardiness. Make-up classes can be arranged with your instructor.
 
Regular class attendance is mandatory and essential. If any student has excessive absences, as determined by the instructor and the director, Adair Dance Academy reserves the right to dismiss them permanently from enrollment, without a refund.

We want to impress upon our students the importance of attendance for the good of the entire class. Please consider this when planning other activities.

If you choose not to participate in recital, you must send a letter or an e-mail to the studio with this information by January 1 for the upcoming spring recital. ADA does not alter fees in any way if you choose not to participate in spring recital.
 
Parent/Student Obligations
All students are expected to arrive ahead of time for classes and are expected to be prepared, with a positive attitude. Any person displaying a lack of respect, responsibility, or safety; or any person who speaks negatively about Adair Dance Academy, fellow students, parents, or faculty will be asked to leave without a refund. If you have any questions about your child’s dance education, you are always welcome to visit with your teacher or the director before or after classes or by phone. Enrollment obligates you to respectfully abide by all Adair Dance Academy policies.

Severe Weather
Adair Dance Academy closes when Omaha Public Schools close for severe weather. Please note that Adair Dance does not follow the OPS calendar in any way.

No make up classes are scheduled due to severe weather days. You are encouraged to make up the class, please see your instructor.

Class Reminders
  • No outside shoes on studio floors.
  • Remain in the waiting area during your child’s class. Please visit with the instructor prior to class if you are wishing to observe a class.
  • Our faculty is made up of instructors with additional professional obligations, we reserve the right to arrange for an alternate instructor when necessary.
  • Schedule: The schedule is subject to change, as the needs of the classes develop. The registration info in this message is as accurate as it stands now. Do know every effort is taken to minimize changes. 
  • ADA reserves the right to place students in appropriate levels.
